Mind over Matter v0.5 - Public release

Hi everyone,

Version 0.5 of Mind Over Matter is now out for public and can be downloaded from here!

Like I mentioned in my previous post I will try to release v1.0 before christmas, I'm not sure if I can do it but I will try my best!

I'm also collecting Ideas for your last power that comes with v1.0. It's a transformation power that let's you transform other people into whatever you want. Right now I only know what I could do with Jane and Frank and Ivan but I'm still missing ideas for Tanisha, Lilly and Ms. Daniels. So if you have any suggestions please let me know!

If you find any bugs or if you have any suggestions regarding other stuff please tell me too!

Mind over Matter v0.5 - Release Schedule

Hi everyone,

first of all, sorry for the lack of updates and progress updates for the last two months. I was really busy and a lot of stuff came up so I couldn't work as much on MoM as I wanted. But you have to keep in mind that I'm just one single person who works on it on her free time. I wish I could work on it fulltime like some others but it's just not possible right now.

However enough of this stuff it's time for v0.5! This is going to be the last version before I release v1.0 - the final version of the game. I'm glad that I'm close to finishing it, since I really want to start working on new projects!

Release Schedule v0.5:  
-November 17th: 25$ Patrons
-November 24th: 5$+ Patrons
-December 1st: Public

V1.0 Full version release: Hopefully before Christmas.

Changelog for v0.5:
-Over 50 new renders
-Two clients (they can be met once a week at the meeting room, the first is unlocked from the start, the second has to be unlocked later on.)
-Neighbour content (it's time to put your bitchy neighbour at her place!)
-A few new random events
-You can now continue the main story and go behind the 30 days lock (the final part of the main story comes in v1.0)
-Bugfixes

Mind over Matter - v0.4 Release Schedule

Hi,

v0.4 just needs a bit more testing and adjustments here and there and then it's ready to go!

Release schedule:
25$ Patrons: 26th August 
5$+ Patrons: 2nd September  
Public Release: 8th September

Changelog:
-27 new renders
-New power: Mind control added (works on Lilly, Jane and Tanisha as well as some other events)
-12 new sex scenes (5 for the male pc and 7 for the female pc)
-A new event at the club for the female pc
-You can now get access to the VIP lounge at the Club 
-Some bugfixes

Notes: Every character that you could corrupt on v0.3 and below should have a sex scene now. Some are a bit short though and will be expanded later on. I didn't get  to finish any meeting room events yet. Rendering images takes about 25% less time now and should speed up my development time a bit.

Mind over Matter v0.3.1 - Public Release

Heya everyone,

version 0.3.1 is now out for public and can be downloaded from here!

The complete changelog since last public release:
-It's now possible to look through other people's stuff without getting caught (for now, only the people you can corrupt and not all of them are complete yet)
-You can now visit the club with Frank at the weekends (most of it is done, but a few things are still missing (like the vip club) )
-Tanisha's corruption path added
-Bad end added, if suspicious gets too high or if you run out of time
-28 new renders in total
-You can press f4 to switch to fullscreen (might distort some stuff though)
-Suspicious slowly decreases over time now
-Some tweaks here and there (bug fixes, spell checking, corruption limit, getting work done can fail, some more text)

MoM - Language Translations

Heya everyone,

Someone just asked me if I would translate MoM into russian. I obviously can't do it since I can't speak russian.

But it would be really easy to implement and I think it's a good idea to include other languages in my games. So if someone of you is speaking another language, doesn't matter which (could be russian, french, german, polish or whatever), and is interested to do a translation, just contact me and I will send you the text to translate.

(I might even give away free patron rewards for your work)

I'm back, finally!

Wow, I'm really glad to sit in front of my computer again!
After a hospital visit and a lot of personal problems I'm finally back and ready to work on my games again. I already posted something about my current situation, about a month ago, at my patreon. I would have liked to post something at my blog too but I didn't had any internet except for my smart phone and for some reason I couldn't log into my blogger account.

But enough of my personal problems. Right now I'm really excited to start working on my game(s) again and the good thing is that I have a lot of free time now, so I will do my best to get the next update for MoM out as fast as possible.

I will also try to be more active from now on and I will post weekly updates about the current development progress on my patreon (I will still post stuff on my blog too, but if you want weekly reports you have to donate at least 1$ at my patreon).

I'm also already collecting suggestions for my next big RPG Maker game. I guess some of you are now thinking: An RPG Maker game again? Or: You barely started working on Mind over Matter and you are collecting ideas for a next game already?
Well, yes. Everything is already planned out. The game mechanics of MoM are all done and all I really have to add are more renders and text.
And yes it's gonna be and rpg maker game, I gained a lot of experience while working on Bandits Assault and I will do a lot of things different and better(!) this time. I will also use the new engine (MV instead of VX Ace).
So MoM should be done within the next few months. It wasn't supposed to be a big game in the first place, it was more like 'a little game where I can try something different and gain some new motivation for my next big game', and hell I'm motivated right now!

So what will be different? What suggestions can you make? Well click me gentle and find out about it!

Update Frequency

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to inform everyone that it will take a bit longer from now on until new updates get released. This are old news to my patrons, but I wanted to inform every non-patron too.

I will just quote some of the stuff I wrote to my patrons.

"I tried to release at least one update per month and until now it worked pretty well. But right now, another part time job as well as some personal problems are reducing the time that I can work on my game. But don't worry, I won't quit and I will still try to work on my game as much as I can."

"As soon as I have enough time or if my patron earnings raise to 500$, so that I can at least quit one of my part time jobs, I will go back to monthly big updates again."

I also changed the payment settings for my patrons to pay per update.

"And because of that, I just changed the payment frequency from monthly to pay per update. This means that you won't have to pay every month from now on but rather only if an update is ready. The reason why I did this is because I would feel bad for taking your money without giving something back."

To summarize it: New Updates can take 2 to 3 months until they get released. But this doesn't necessarily mean that it will take that long. I will release every new update as soon as enough content is ready.

Mind over Matter v0.1 - Patron Release

Hi and Happy New year everyone!

The very first version of Mind over Matter is available for all of my patrons.

It's still pretty much barebones but it's enough to get an overall idea of the gameplay and story.
You can currently play through the intro, move into different rooms and talk with some characters. Some functions aren't working yet, because they have no content. But the engine is done and I can now finally concentrate on putting more content and events into the game.

So, if you are a patron have fun testing everything out and if you have any questions, feedback or suggestions, please let me know and I will do my best to answer/work on them!
For everyone else, sorry but you have to wait another whole month to play the game. This version won't be out for public. I think it's better this way because it still lacks some important features and content.
